Last updated: (We re-check pricing and new products weekly)
One of the most common questions I get asked is: “If you needed to buy Generic Viagra® or Cialis® online, which website would you use?”
Fair question.
Right now, the medication market is a jungle.
Some sites are legitimate medical telehealth platforms.
Some sites are marketing machines.
Some are “subscription traps”.
Some hide the real price until checkout.
And some offer products that sound like Generic Viagra® or Cialis® ...but are actually unapproved “DIY” blends that leave you guessing what you're really putting in your body.[9] [10]
So I decided to investigate.
My team and I spent 162 man-hours and ran 84 separate tests. (We even ran some tests two or three times because we could not believe the results.) We compared product quality, pricing structures, subscription policies, and customer experience.
The investigation cost $12,249.89, but I'm more than happy to be giving it away for free - because you have a right to know this information before buying Generic Viagra® or Cialis®.
For each company, I'll tell you:
- What you're actually getting (medication test results)
- The real cost (not the advertised cost)
- The catch (if there is one)
- Who it's best for
If you only want the short answer… here it is:
- 1. ScoreBlue (Best overall)
- 2. All American Pharma (Best US-Made Generic)
- 3. MaleMD (Best compounded blend)
Now let's get into it...
1ScoreBlue
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): A+
Price reality:
For the high quality of medication they deliver, their prices are very reasonable:
Viagra AGV (100mg):
- 40 pills for $149.00 = $3.72/pill
- 25 pills for $99.00 = $3.96/pill
- 10 pills for $49.00 = $4.90/pill
Generic Cialis (20mg):
- 20 mg / 10 mg as low as $4.98/pill
- 5 mg / 2.5 mg as low as $2.21/pill
Verdict: ScoreBlue wins where it counts: trust, speed, price, and results, making it an easy choice for our #1 spot. If you're looking for a place to start, ScoreBlue is my “No Brainer” recommendation.
See WebsiteHow it works:
- 1. Answer the online questionnaire (~5 min)
- 2. Doctor reviews (often same day)
- 3. Ships discreetly in 3-5 days
Best for: Men who want maximum confidence in what they're taking, plus speed, privacy, and value.
Avoid if: You're looking for “cheap above all else” and you're willing to sacrifice quality, you can pinch a few pennies by looking elsewhere.
Pros
- A+ quality medication (best we tested). ScoreBlue's formula was the best we tested, by some margin.
- Made in the U.S.A. Strong trust signal and tighter quality controls.
- First FDA-Approved source of Viagra AGV. ScoreBlue's new flagship option: works faster and longer than other versions due to its cleaner formulation and patented delivery system.
- Real medical review - fast. Complete a 5-minute questionnaire online. A real doctor (not a Nurse Practitioner) reviews it within hours. You get an email when your prescription is written and your medication is shipped.
- Low-hassle experience. Fast, free shipping. Clear steps. Easy-to-reach customer service based in the U.S.
- No surprise add-ons at checkout. No surprise fees, and the prescription and shipping are included.
- 120-Day Money-Back Guarantee. While this is something I wouldn't normally comment on as a doctor, I do like that a guarantee removes financial risk so more men are willing to get treatment.
Cons
- Not the #1 cheapest option (more like #2). At $3.72 - $4.90 per 100 mg Viagra AGV, ScoreBlue offers excellent value. But All-American Pharma has the slight edge on price.
- Pill bottles are not child-proof. It's a minor point, but worth mentioning: keep your bottle in a safe place.
What is Viagra AGV?
Viagra AGV is engineered to be “the best possible form of Viagra”. It's meant to feel more like the original Viagra, but with a few improvements: they took out the blue dye,[26] and managed to make the pill kick in faster and last longer.
- Works in as little as 12 mins[28]
- Lasts up to 12 hours[29]
- Clinically proven to work for 94% of men[30]
I'm sure you remember the craze around the original Viagra. Men were willing to pay $90 per pill because it worked so well.
Think of original Viagra like original Coca-Cola, and modern generic Viagra pills like “Sam's Choice Cola” or “Inca Cola”.
Now imagine you've spent your whole life drinking store-brand cola, then you finally get to try real Coca-Cola for the first time - that's the “aha” moment that Viagra AGV offers.
Bottom line: If a patient or a friend asked me where to get Generic Viagra® or Cialis® online, I'd point him here first.
2All American Pharma
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): A
Price reality:
At $3.37/pill for 100mg generic Viagra or 20mg Generic Cialis, All American Pharma actually saves you a few extra cents per pill over our #1 pick.
Best for: Men who want straightforward generic Viagra/Cialis, prefer U.S.-made medication, and want to save a little bit extra.
Avoid if: You want the “best possible” option.
See WebsitePros
- Made in the USA. Not India. Not China. One of only TWO options in this Top 10 that can say that (the other is our #1 pick).[25]
- Real Generic Viagra and Cialis. Our tests gave it top marks for purity and potency.
Cons
- Our #1 pick beats it on purity and overall experience, even if #2 has a slight edge on price.
Bottom line: Offering high-purity generic Viagra and Cialis made right in New Jersey, All American Pharma offers reliable results for less than $4 per tablet. If your goal is “clean, normal generics, made in America,” All American Pharma is the easy number 2.
3MaleMD (Best Compounded Medication)
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): A-
Price reality:
Price reality: They claim “$1.64 per pill”, but that price only happens if you buy the 5-bottle bundle (150 pills for $245). And their “60-day guarantee” reads a lot less generous when the terms say no refunds once prescription meds ship.[24]
Best for: The guy who wants a modern blend that tests relatively well.
See WebsitePros
- Strong lab results. Clean tests, consistent labeling, and none of the ingredient problems we saw in other blends.
- Smarter formula. The added L-Citrulline can help support nitric oxide.
- U.S.-made in a GMP facility. Uses sildenafil and tadalafil produced in a certified GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) facility in the U.S.
Cons
- Daily pill may not be cost-effective. If you only need a pill once in a while, the cost-per-use can feel high.
- It's compounded. Even with strong test results, it's not in the same category as an FDA-approved medication.[9]
Bottom line: MaleMD is the best “modern blend” on this list. It's compounded - but it's done with cleaner results and a smarter formula than most combo pills. It earns the title of “Best Compounded Medication”.
4RexMD
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): B+
Price reality:
They advertise Generic Viagra and Cialis for “as low as $6 per dose”, but that requires you to buy a 12 month subscription for at least $720. For a 1 month supply, it's $10 per tablet for 50 mg / 100 mg generic Viagra or 10 mg / 20 mg generic Cialis.[22]
Best for: Men who want an ED-focused service and don't mind paying a little more.
Avoid if: You're trying to get the best per-pill value, or you hate long-term subscription commitments.
See WebsitePros
- They offer real Generic Viagra® and Generic Cialis®
- Same price for Generic Viagra® and Generic Cialis®
- Their compounded gummy (“Ignite”) tested better than the previous options on this list.
Cons
- High price for what you're getting.
- “$6/pill” requires 12 month commitment.[22]
The Catch
⚠️ BBB complaints mention recurring charges and cancellation issues.[23]
Bottom line: Rex MD is “good, not great”. You can get standard generics, but the price is higher than it should be for what you're getting.
5Hims
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): B-
Price reality:
- $4 will only get you the lowest dose (25 mg) of their lowest-quality generic “sildenafil”, (which doesn't actually meet the standards to be called “Generic Viagra”).[19] [20]
- 100 mg sildenafil costs $10.[19]
- They advertise daily tadalafil for “less than $2 per day”, but that's only if you buy a 12 month subscription for $384.[19]
Best for: Guys who want a big subscription storefront and don't mind navigating plans, tiers, and cross-sells.
Avoid if: You're just looking for the best place to get Generic Viagra® and Cialis®, not a whole online pharmacy.
Pros
- You can still get the standard medications.
- Low daily tadalafil price if you're willing to buy a whole year for $384.
Cons
- No doctor I know would prescribe “Hard Mints”. These are a marketing play, not a medical treatment.[9]
- Expensive prices that increase with dose.
- Active ingredients sourced from India and China.
- Constant cross-sells. Expect to be offered treatments for hair loss, testosterone, weight loss, premature ejaculation, mental health, etc.
Bottom line: Hims has the same problems as Ro - and it's just as expensive. You're paying for the big brand and the storefront.
6Roman
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): B-
Price reality:
- $4 will only get you the lowest dose (25 mg) of their lowest-quality generic “sildenafil”, (which doesn't actually meet the standards to be called “Generic Viagra”).[18]
- Generic Viagra is $10 per 100 mg pill, and generic Cialis can run as high as $44 per 20mg pill.[18]
- Up to $90 per pill for brand-name Viagra (any strength).[18]
Best for: Men who want a one-stop shop (mens pills + other treatments) and don't mind paying more.
Avoid if: You don't like dealing with an extra smartphone app to manage your subscription.
Pros
- You can still get FDA-approved meds, although they're not cheap.
- Some pricing is visible (at least you're not totally guessing).
Cons
- High prices- especially at higher doses. If you want more than the minimum dose, Roman will cost you extra.
- Generic medications made in India. Not automatically bad, but it's not a premium signal either.
- Unapproved "DIY" alternatives. Roman pushes their "Sparks" and "Daily Rise Gummies" hard. But these are unofficial mixes, meaning they lack the rock-solid consistency and FDA approval of a standard generic pill.[9]
- They push you to buy their other products You’re pushed toward hair loss, weight loss, premature ejaculation, testosterone, and more.
Bottom line: You can get decent pills at Ro, but you'll pay a premium. And if you let them talk you into their unapproved gummies or mints, you're trading a guaranteed medical standard for a very expensive piece of candy.
7Lemonaid Health
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): C+
Price reality:
They advertise “$2/pill”, but there are a few huge catches.[17]
- It's $2 for each of their lowest strength 20 mg sildenafil pills, which do not even meet the standards to be called generic Viagra.
- They expect you to take multiple pills at a time - so it's really $6 per 60 mg (3 pills) or $10 per 100 mg (5 pills).
- 100 mg generic Viagra (FDA-approved) is $15 per dose.
- You pay a $25 consult fee up front.
Best for: Men who want very low dose (20 mg) sildenafil and don't mind paying for an online consultation.
Avoid if: You want the best value for money or you strongly prefer non-India sourcing.
Pros
- Classic menu: generic Viagra (sildenafil), generic Cialis (tadalafil), and vardenafil.
Cons
- High prices for low strength.
- Weak “sildenafil” made in India. Not always a deal breaker, but the quality control is certainly less consistent (and we saw that in our tests).
- The $25 consultation fee is a real toll.
- They push “Bliss” (a compounded sildenafil mint). Not FDA-approved or reviewed for safety/effectiveness, but cleaner than Rugiet or Bluechew.
- Phone or video call may be required.[17] Most men prefer a simple online form.
Bottom line: Lemonaid is best for a guy who wants a mainstream telehealth brand and doesn't mind: (1) paying the consultation fee, and (2) possibly doing a quick call/video depending on state.
8 Friday Plans
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): C
Price reality:
The “87¢ pill” is clickbait. The real price shows up once you're deep in the checkout.[16]
Best for: “Impulse buyers” who only care about the lowest-looking headline price.
Avoid if: You hate pricing games, subscription traps, or aggressive email/SMS/phone follow-ups.
Pros
- Appealing entry offer for guys who only care to “try something cheap once.”
- Simple 2-item menu (generic Viagra/Cialis).
Cons
- The 87¢ price is a very limited deal. Even on the first order, most customers end up paying a lot more.
- Hidden fees. They charge $6.59 in fees on a 9 tablet order - that adds up fast.[16]
- Checkout steers you into spending more. One wrong click and you can end up buying far more than you intended.
- Shipping took longer than promised.
- Cancellation can be frustrating.
- Customer Support is a maze. Layers of automation before you reach a human, and even then it's hard to get a straight answer on totals and line items.
The Catch
⚠️ Overseas Sourcing: Tablets are made in India. When it comes to something this important, most men don't want to cut corners with overseas products. They want the iron-clad reliability of pills made right here in the USA.
⚠️ Non-stop Emails, SMS, and phone calls: Expect daily follow-ups if you don't buy right away - and they ramp up again after cancellation.[16]
Bottom line: Friday Plans may look appealing at first, but their high-pressure sales tactics and made-in-India medications make for an unpleasant experience. If you use Friday Plans, screenshot every pricing page before you check out (and consider using a secondary phone number/email).
9 BlueChew
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): C-
Price reality:
Your “real” per-chew cost for a 6-pack is $4.17/chew ($20 + $5 shipping).[14] [15]
Best for: Men who want chewables above all else and don't mind compounded meds.
Avoid if: You want simple, clean Generic Viagra® or Cialis® and no-drama billing.
Pros
- Chewable format (some patients can't swallow pills).[15]
- Lots of options if you like experimenting.
- Big brand recognition (easy to find, tons of ads).
Cons
- They are "unofficial" mixes (not FDA-approved). Because these chewables are mixed by the company, they don't have FDA approval. You're not getting a standardized, clinically proven tablet.[9]
- Unpredictable “combo” options. Mixing two or four drugs together just adds unnecessary guesswork to your night.
- Subscription traps. Miss the cancellation window and you get rebilled. Their terms include a 48-hour cancellation window to avoid renewal.[15]
- Don't expect a refund. Their terms indicate charges are generally not refundable (subject to policy).[15]
Bottom line: BlueChew is for the guy who says: “I don't care - just give me chewables.” If you can swallow pills safely, there are plenty of cleaner, less expensive options on this list.[14] [15]
10 Rugiet
Lab grade (Purity / Potency): D
Price reality:
Rugiet advertises “as low as $7-$10 per dose,” which is already quite high. But most customers will pay a lot more - around $14-$24 per dose depending on the quantity.[11]
Best for: Men who specifically want a “dissolve under the tongue” option and don't mind a combo product.
Avoid if: You want a sure thing, rather than gambling your night on an unpredictable science project.
Pros
- They don't pretend it's FDA-approved.
- The “melt” format is convenient if you cannot swallow pills.[11]
Cons
- An overly complicated experiment. You're taking both sildenafil and tadalafil plus a third drug (apomorphine), all at once.[11] Why mix three different things when one proven pill does the job perfectly?
- The “15 minutes” claim is weak. It appears to be based on an internal survey, not a clinical study.
- No refunds. Their policy says once prescription meds ship, refunds aren't available.[13]
The Catch
⚠️ Failed clinical trial
Apomorphine was tested decades ago, but it never caught on because it simply wasn't the home run men were looking for. Forcing it into a 3-drug mix just complicates a simple problem.
Bottom line: Rugiet tries to reinvent the wheel and charges you a premium for it. Instead of a reliable, FDA-approved pill, you get an unofficial 3-drug mix that leaves your results completely up to chance.[11] [12]
Final Word From Dr. Danoff
Performance issues are very common, but good solutions are rare (especially on the internet)!
If you've read this far, you've taken a huge step towards fixing the problem and feeling like your old self again (if not better).
When you're ready to pursue treatment, I feel comfortable recommending that you start with ScoreBlue.
The online questionnaire takes about 5 minutes and it doesn't cost anything. When you're done, you'll find out if you qualify.
See If You QualifyI can't promise the same result for every man. But these are the most common “real-world” comments I see from ScoreBlue patients:
“Scoreblue has been a blessing for me and my wife.” - R. Robinson
“This medication helped me get my confidence back” - Dimitri
“When I switched to Scoreblue after dropping my old provider, I immediately noticed an improvement in the product quality.” - Jon P.
